Facebook is Five Years Old

The latest trend in the Social Networking site, Facebook, now turns 5. The Facebook founders has these words:

Tomorrow is Facebook's 5th birthday. This is a happy occasion for Facebook, but much more significant to the Facebook team is the fact that over 150 million people around the world are using Facebook to connect with the people in their lives. Facebook was founded in 2004 to give people the tools to engage and understand the world around them. We are glad and humbled that so many people are using Facebook in this way.

While we at Facebook make products that enable people to share information efficiently, Facebook is mostly the product of the people who use it. Without you and the connections you make to others, the products we create wouldn't have much meaning. So we feel fortunate to have all of you with us. To express our appreciation, we've created a "Thank You" gift, which will be available tomorrow in the Facebook Gift Shop for you to to give freely to others. Friendster Transferred to Australia

Few of the popular bloggers are coming from Australia. And now the number 1 social website in Asia has transferred from the US to Australia. I don't yet why the boss of Friendster chooses the Australia to be the main or base of Friendster.

Today, most of the users of Friendster are coming from Asia, particularly Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

WebPage Voice Mail Available at Friendster

The WebPage Voice Mail or WPVM system is already available at Friendster. Members of Friendster can now use the private messaging using the WebPage Voice Main system gadget into their friendster account.

The WPVM allows free message calls, and automated email notification and online retrieval of voicemain messages. The users can opt to use the paid version with low-flat rate or the free one with ads clutter.
